dead motor please help

Ok here is the deal i have a skeeter with an 87 merucry 135 motor. After i get her cranked and warmed up i go to take off and at full throttle i'm only going like five miles an hour, after about 15 min of this it rares up and take off and is fine the rest of the day, anyone have any clue brandons02@hotmail.com

What are you rpm's when you are only going 5 mph at full throttle?<br /><br />Start with the basics.<br />When it is acting like this, check for:<br />1 fuel to all cylinders<br />2 spark on all cylinders<br />3 compression reading on each cylinder

well i know nothing about boat motors all i know is it seems as if its flooded rpms stay down and like i said after you finally get it to open up it is fine the rest of the day, could it be the choke sticking thanks for your reply
