I have a standard size kitchen trash can that I usually fill with water to run my '69 Evinrude 9.5 on the boat in the driveway. I'm planning to decarb this week and I'm wondering if it's okay to do it in the trash can in the driveway?

Thanks

I use a 50 gal. rubbermaid trash container in the driveway...it's gonna produce a lot of smoke and crud in the container....the last time I did one on 6hp. I just used deep creep sprayed into the carb at about 1/2 throttle..let it choke itself down..restart...repeat...3 or 4 times...then let it choke itself down....wait 20 min....restart as a final step..you should notice an improved idle and throttle response...I had the motor in gear with the water hose refilling the trash can as necessary
