Decarb - can I wait more than 16 hrs until running engine?

I started decarbing my 1982 Johnson 25 hp motor last night with the plan to get on the water ~12 hour later to run the OMC power tune out of the engine. The weather has turned snotty and would be better if I could go out tomorrow am. Can a leave this OMC power tune spray in the engine for 24 hrs or would that cause problems? They recommend 3-16 hours standing before running and clearing engine. Will leaving it with tuner in it for 24 hours cause any harm? Thanks, P239

You should be just fine.

If this is your first decarb, I suggest putting new spark plugs in after you run the power tune out of the motor.

Thanks. I can toss it in the test tank - but would rather get it out on the water to run that stuff out fully. If it is not going to cause any problems - will just leave the power tune in the engine for 24 hrs and run it out tomorrow.
Appreciate your input. P239
