Keep in mind a couple of things when it comes to air bubbles...
1- You are going to be putting a lot better construction techniques than the factory and they managed to have it last this long...
2- You will be putting a lot of blood, sweat, tears and cash into this boat and are probably going to take MUCH better care of it than it ever had before...one way will be to make sure it is put away nice and dry and covered, with the drain plug removed and the nose held high, after each fun filled excursion...
3- The main concern as I have learned with air bubbles in the fiberglass are two fold...IF they are huge, which yours are NOT...it could compromise some of the strength...AND...since nothing is really waterproof, except maybe sea creatures...IF the fiberglass remains submerged for looooong periods of time, water may eventually find its way into the bubbles and then into the wood...in which case you should refer to 1 & 2 above...
I think you have done an outstanding job installing the transom and the rest of the build will be just as good or better!
