I have a 1994 Four Winns Freedom 170 that has a rotten deck... does anyone have any advice on this project? Is replacing a deck an easy job? Something that I can do myself? It looks fairly straight forward but before I dig into it some advice would be appreciated! Thanks!

Re: Deck Rot

Yeah, go ahead. Stay safe and organized. Bag and/or label pieces you are re-using. Replace what you take-out. Sometimes the old stuff is good for a template. If you are cutting alot of smaller pieces from a 4x8 sheet, then sometimes a cut sheet will save you lots of wasted scraps and best of all you can draw it out on a sheet of paper. And above all, stay safe and organized.

Enjoy

if you couldn't do it yerself this wouldn't be the restoration forum,
it would be the boatyard directory.
Take photos as you go along,
it might come in usefull when trying to figga out how it goes back together.
And the pics will help the newcomer know how to do it.
