Desperatly need help

OK here is my situation. I got this boat and motor from a friend and i know nothing about the engine. All i know is its a Mercur 80 horsepower motor ( 4 cyl) and the serial # of the engine. I have no idea what year it is , or anything else. I took the cover off and inside looks imaculate, not even any wear on the engine block paint.
Some of the wiring was was brittle and has to be replaced.
so my question is does anyone know what engine i have, do you have a wiring diagram you could send me
Possibly where i could get a new wiring harness,

Can anyone send me a wiring diagram of the harness and where everything connects on the engine.. and possibly where i could get the wiring harnes for that engine

Jeep, You might get a manual for that motor. You will likely need it going forward. I do not have a wiring diagram for that motor off hand, however I do have on in my Merc Service Manual (hint). Basically the engine wiring harness supplies power for starting and the electric choke. The orange wire on the engine harness kills the switchboxes, causing the motor to stop. The wires from the stator (yellow-red) go to the rectifier to convert AC to DC to charge the battery. The other stator and trigger wires (under the flywheel) go to the switchbox(s) to fire the ignition coils.
