I did , even used they aint cheap .Looked into a decent Jacobs chuck but never followed up.
You can get a good, medium duty Jacob’s for $50.I did , even used they aint cheap .![]()
Yeah maybe in the states but by the time I convert to NZ$ that is $95 , plus ,$50 to $75 for freight ( freight x US is probly the most expensive there is ....Italy is hight too )and Im over $150, and bought locally ......there is precious little if any to be saved .You can get a good, medium duty Jacob’s for $50.
Steel , but I think that particular keyless chuck is needing a hoozle up, it should be ok as its all steel but I think its time to take it apart for a clean and debur, shame coz otherwise its a good drill .What are you drilling into ? Makes all the difference.......
Yeah ,thats where I was going with the round fileI wonder if you could dip the shank in lapping compound and polish the jaws?
