Diagram of wiring harness

I have a 1989 Yamaha 175 outboard motor oil injected, I need to hook the wiring harness from the throttle to the factory Yamaha gauges that came with the motor seem to missing something??

with no other information can ya post some pictures of the guages, the console side wiring and the control box?
also did you get the remote oil tank and the harness from the engine to the tank?

yes have the oil tank all hooked up with harness, motor harness is complete up to controls. the wires coming from throttle control along with tach. gauge and speed. gauge are the ones I am having the difficulty with. harness from throttle are hooked up into gauge harness. the wires are color coded and also with molex connectors which are fine --- basically if throttle harness and gauge harness are all disconnected will the motor start? thanks for all you can help with
