i know, i'm not dd. nor do i have a boat like yers wb2. but just thought i'd say hi.... Hi...
on my boat. i love my aluminum 19p prop. it's a garden variety mercruiser black max prop i think. my holeshot blows away both my buddys with rigs similar to yers. one of them has tabs and a 220 fuelie (19' stingray), the other has a whale tail w/a carbed 190 (18.5' bayliner).. i have neither tabs nor tail.
my wot is right on for me. spec is 3900-4300. w/ my normal load. i'm at 4300. right where i want it..
of course, both my buddy's loose me in the long run. both are way faster than my 42mph top speed.. but i have an excuse. i have a 30 year older boat than they do.. i believe they're both running ss props. a 19 on the stingray, maybe 21. and a 21p maybe 23 on the bayliner.. probably the reason i tear em up off the line i suppose..
