I NEED A LIL INFO ON DISCONNECTING VRO PUMP ON 1993 FAST STRIKE JOHNSON.I HAVE UNPLUGGED OIL HOSE AND CAPPED IT OFF, I NEED TO KNOW WHICH WIRES TO UNPLUG. THERE IS A BLACK PLUG WITH 4 WIRES IN IT AND A TAN WIRE AT ANOTHER PART IN THAT SAME AREA. OR IF SOMEONE CAN TELL ME WHICH WIRES ARE THE POWER WIRES AND THE BUZZER WIRE. THANKS IN ADVANCE.

Check out the Engine FAQ articles, speedy. They should answer your questions.

Re: DISCONNECTION OF VRO PUMP - HELP

By capping off the oil hose I hope you mean at the engine fitting as well. Leaving the engine side open allows air to be drawn into the system resulting in a lean condition which will have you looking for a new power head. The harness from the VRO pump is the one you disconnect (the one you mentioned). The tan wire is probably the overheat sensor and you do not want to disconnect that or anything related to the buzzer. That buzzer must stay active to warn of overheat which has nothing to do with the VRO.
