Does anyone know about restoring old boats

I am looking at buying a 1945 Navy Launch, it is 40 feet, the price is right.

I am not sure if I am in the right place, it looks like you all have little boats, is there another forum you know about?

Look at the restoration forum on here. There is more to read than you could ever take in. Plenty of members here have done tons of restoration on everything from small boats to huge ones. Also, a good deal of the folks on here own 30 plus foot boats. Just look around. Welcome to iBoats!
