Does this sound like a bad ground?

I just installed a fuel flow meter (Floscan), and everything seemed to be fine when tested. Yesterday, we went out, and the flow meter worked fine for a few minutes, then would stop. The needle goes to zero after a bit, and the LCD totalizer stops accumulating (but doesn't reset or turn off). Whenever I start the engine, it reads correctly, then will stop. If I start the engine again, it reads again. Is it a faulty ground, or should I look elsewhere?

I don't know anything about the system(floscan) your using bud, but I think checking the power and ground with a DVM is a good place to start, I would, after that I would be looking for help as well

Well, I just re-wired the ground.... that was it....

Lesson learned... DON'T use the snap connectors that 'cut into' the wire

. It didn't even cut through the insulation...

you want a smack in the back of the head now or next time?? Thats my problem with trailer wiring, often times you find those crap quick connectors and they are nothing but crap, funny thing is they are everywhere so resist the temptation everyone!!
