i'm almost done rebuilding my evinrude 6 hp 1979 model #6905e, and was wondering if there is anywhere a can acquire a picture of this motor on the internet,on what its suppose to look like when finished..i just want to make sure everything is hooked up right and where it is suppose to be..................thanks

thanks for the response wilde1j, but what i was really looking for was a picture of this motor with the cowling off, so i can make sure all my connections for wiring and parts connected are o.k. before i start motor,.........also,i know i have to double the motor oil to the gas, but for how long do i have to run double the oil before going back to 50 to 1 ration? .............thanks

Ten hours should do it for double oil.

A shop manual (OEM) will have the info you need. Ebay or outboardbooks.com You will need the procedure for setting the timing, etc. as well.
