One I rememer is when we were making the IPs for the '99-newer RAM Vans. New vehicles are always shipped with the I.O.D. fuse removed so the batteries won't go dead. The dealership was supposed to remove the end cap and install the fuse as part of PDI. Enough of them were failing to do this that it was showing up as a pretty good size warranty issue. So Chrysler came up with a 8"x2" orange sticker that we would put on the inside of the end cap with about a 3 inch tail sticking out to catch the attention of the dealer. Turned out a bunch of them would just tear off the tail and send the van out. Sure enough it would be back in a day or so because courtesy lights, radio, etc. didn't work.
