Re: door to door sales idiots
I have to agree with BassCat73.. He just disclosed a secrete about sales, Kirby is a high end sale item and there is a lot playing room.. I used to run around as a front person for an advertisement discount magazine.. There were two guys and me as a trainee.. They go in one at a time and do a sale pitch on a ad space.. Then they would try to sell a space on the front cover for 185 amonth.. This space really cost about 150.. Then they would go to the inside and try to sell a cheaper ad space say for 150, color is extra 30.. If the person still wasn't going for it, he would make a turn and scratch his nose for us to come in.. That is when the second guy would show a specail sale space ad that is like a 2"X3" ad space for 95/mth blk-n-wht.. They usually go for it all the time.. But the ad space is regularly 85 dollars with color. They usually pocket the extra and also get free stuff from the stores too.. Plus they made commission on all ads..
I too wanted a Kirby Vacumm I had the girl down to 600 with all the attatchments, but I backed down at the last minute.. I now have one that I got on a bet.. He bought it at an estate sale about a month ago for 25 dollars. It is a Kirby Generation 4. Not the 6, but it is just like new.. I about died when We bet on a fishing trip last week.. It was who caught the first fish or 25 bucks.. Your truely has a free Kirby... 3 bags cost 7 dollars and the shampooer was 15 used, however the shampoo is about 25 dollars, but so worth it.. Now I use my old vacumm to clean out the wood stove, Wal-mart junk compared to a Kirby.. The moto for Kirby is it will out last you.. Well the lady was dead and the Kirby has moved on to a new house..

PS. Now these days if a salesman is trying to sell something at your home, they are also checking what you have to steal.. Or the new thing that hit this area last year was they sell your address's to thieves and they watch your house and nail you when your not home..
