I am going to start by saying this is going to be a quick and dirty rebuild. My goal is to have the boat in the water by the end of the month. The transom was redone a while back and could use a rebuild but I am going to hold off for now.

The plan is replace the floor, Paint the hull, build a seating set up, Fix steering. and add an outboard.

I got this boat for free with no paperwork so registration is going to be VERY interesting and a big PITA!

Has anyone seen one of these before? I searched the net with no luck at all. The boat is roughly 13.5 feet from the tip of the bow to stern. It is rated at 40hp but the most i am going to run is a 25. my buddy gave me a free seahorse 5hp which i will run until i find a cheap 25hp.

Anyone have an idea of the age of this boat????

here are some pictures:

The Trailer is from my 1958 herters project which was sold to fund this boat..

Any additional info on this boat would really help. Also feel free to give suggestions and input on the project. I built wooden boats but am new Glassers.
