Thanks, I'm arguing with the wife right now on the whole "Muff" theory (keep the minds out of the gutter people ;) ) All we have for garden hose are them dumb infomercial shrinking hoses..... the ones when the water drains out it shrinks and you can "fit it in a flower pot" .... well my thinking is as soon as I kick the motor on the water pump will start "sucking" and the hose will collapse pinching the water going to the motor.... well.. she refuses to buy me some "hard" garden hose.... says its too expensive for a "one time use" .... might have to borrow a garden hose from the father in law... I just hate asking to borrow stuff haha...

I used one of those shrinking hoses on my V-6's before the hose gave out. It won't collapse. As with anytime you're running on muffs, keep a close eye on the muffs (so they don't slip off) and your temp gauge.

Hahaha ^ very wise

I got lucky she really likes the boat...it's just the last thing on her mind ....eh...hopefully this baby will come soon and things will calm down a bit and next year her and Jaxson (our new baby) will get to enjoy it more

Sounds like she wants it to be the last thing on your mind too.....Lol

I bet muffs are one of those items you could purchase and just put them on the shelf. no need to tell. If you get caught just plead ignorance and ask for forgiveness, LOL.

Watched the video, the motor looks new. The prop has been painted but look good. Looks and sounds like your good to go, just don't forget the wife on dry dock.

Haha she bought the muffs for me.... We live 30 miles from the nearest town and I don't get to town much :/

I also looked at the prop its not painted ...it's like brand spanking new...any idea on pitch?? I still don't understand that whole field of things..I'll try and pull a number on it later

The pitch is on the prop. If you look it will say something like 13 1/2 x 17. The pitch will be the 17 and the diameter will be the 13 1/2. There will be a absolute ton of information and discussions on props. Its like what kind of gas or when do I change my oil, question every new boater will ask. The wife getting you the muffs sounds like she has bought in to the whole boat thing, that is great. You and your new family will have many great memories to look back on, enjoy.

Let us know when the new arrival comes. boy, girl weight? I had all girls, all growen up with kids of their own. Grand baby's are even better then your kids, LOL. They go home at the end of the day, ha ha ha ha.

yea i see theres a whole thread topic on props haha!

well its a boy, at least the ultra sound says so.... Her due date is Wednesday, shes miserable right now :p

My wife deserves a trophy of some kind... to be 9 months prego, and go with your husband to look at a boat and let him buy it,

PLUS end of Jan. She came with me to an ice fishing tournament and we had to walk 1/2 just to get to the ice.... she was a trooper being almost 8 months prego then too!:faint2:

I tried convinceing her to stay in the hotel... but she wanted to come... hahah
