Draining of FWC System

I have a full FWC system.
I need to remove my risers to check the gaskets.
If I pull the large hose off the circ pump will that be enough to drain it?
I am trying to avoid having to pull the hoses off the bottom of the manifolds.

Do you have manifold drains? that should lower the water level to remove the risers.

Ayuh,.... Do yer manifolds have any pipe plugs in 'em, that would usually have drains in 'em,..??
