When I pulled the Grady out of the water for the winter and went to remove the drain plug I noticed the "fitting" that the plug goes into seemed loose. I plan on removing it in the spring and re-sealing it.

Any suggestions on what to use?

Hi Tony,

I'm thinking that you're talking about the drain tube being loose. It depends what the tube material is, but 5200 works well... If appropriate, thickened epoxy is great.

But I wonder... Why is the tube loose? What's the condition of the boat's stern, and how much water got in there?
