The drive fluid reservoir has a line on it and isnt that im assuming the fill line? its hair low on that oil and ive heard that you cat mix oils, how do i tell what i have in it now?
A little low in that overflow tank is fine, as long as there is fluid in there. It will expand as the drive/oil heat up, so the line is more of a max line than a minimum. I'd leave it along and change it at the end of the season.
When is the last time you changed the gearcase lube? But the boy I bought it from takes it to a place and everything changed and checked at the end of the year
