Drive Question. Please help.

Hey guys. Thought I'd repost in a different topic for better luck.

My Uncle had some kind of speed boat that he gave me, but after getting it i realized i don't have the time or money to fix it up. I'm trying to figure out how much the drive is worth because i'm moving soon and need to clean out my yard. I can't seem to find info on it anywhere. I am also selling the 454 Big Block and transmission and prop that is attatched to it.

On the drive, it says:

Arneson TM Drive
By Borg-Warner
Model 17-21-003
MFG. By Warner Gear DlV., Muncie, in USA

If anyone has any information please help me out here, I can't find this model anywhere. Thankyou.

Put in "Arneson Drives" in Google.

Go to their home page.

Call their phone number.

They will be your best bet for any information you want on the drive.

If you're just trying to sell it for the highest price put it on Ebay.

darn cool drives for sure. bet their pretty pricey too. looks to me like he might have the b1 conversion so it could be a good deal for someone. i think the problem will be finding a buyer.... i've never seen even one arneson drive around my parts..... maybe their more previlant on the coasts. i'd think national advertising will bring the largest bucks too..... now if ya can get two folks to want it, the bidding will go yer way, if not?

Wow a boat with a big block a trans (probably ZF) and an Arnson surface piercing drive and you want to part it?

Why don't you sell the whole package boat and all?

I really don't know what kind of boat or how too tell. It's a two seater though with a foot throttle.

I am up for selling the whole package but i pulled the motor to replace starter and just put it back in without hooking anything back up. I sort of gave up, so i'm not sure if anyone would be interested. Plus there are no seats because it's been sitting and they rotted off the seat-mounts.
