drivers seat

i just bought a 2002 180 ls in great shape.my question is...is the drivers seat adjustable for height? there is a black metal thing that blocks it from going lower it seems.where its @ right now is to high and my face is above the windshield.any help w this is appreciated,thanks

If it won't go down far enough for you, get our your jacksaw. Iboats also sells lot of different seat bases. You can upgrade it.

take a good look at that black 'thing'. it has a coasting nut that slides across a railing system so the seat can slide forward and backward. don't let it be too loose or it will strip and destroy the frame. i managed to fix mine. you wouldn't want to do this job. it is an avoidable cost that should be spent on supplies.
