Driveshaft shim guage bar part numbers or measurements?

Was wondering if anyone had the part numbers for which shim guage bar I need for a 1977 200 and a 1981 235 hp. I see them listed separately by OEM numbers but no application for which one goes with which lower. My old manual lists the older ring style part numbers nothing for the newer ones. Any help would be great. Thanks

If you just resealed them or swapped housings you need not reshim,if you changed gears,bearings,upper cover or driveshaft you will need to reshim

I am changing bearings and all I can recreate the fixture for holding it in the lave I just need the right shim guage bar for my motors. Will save me around 200 bones as I can buy the bars separate. I would bite the bullet and buy the whole thing but I am only doing two lowers.

Or guess where I can dig up a 321520 original tool

Go to a dealer and have it done, takes less than 30min to do them both.....

I would just go to a dealer but the couple I talked too wanted enough I could buy the tool twice over and they would only do it if they installed it in the lower. I can machine the whole fixture if I need too I just need the measurements for the bar. Yes I can take it apart and reverse engineer it as both are already shimmed. I would rather have the measurements and or shim bar on hand to make it a little faster. I figured someone would have the destructions and just tell me which bar I need.

I do not have my books / parts / tools near this computer.--I will try to find the value off the shim gauge for you.------Wait patiently please.

For the universal fixture the part # for the gauge is 328367-----The dimension stamped on that gauge is ---8.273"---------Please be absolutely sure on how to use that dimension in order to determine the shims required.
