Thanks to all who helped; took advice removed carbs, removed floats and jets, soaked jets in carb cleaner(20min in gunk) took throttle bodies and boiled in antifreeze ( about 200 degrees f for about 5 min each) use caution not to exceed flash point of antifreeze. Reassembled. Run great. Problem of not handling load gone; thanks again
