Ok heres the deal my dt 150 starts well, idles smoothly, advances well but wont go beyond 3000 rpm. Good compression, spark on all 12 plugs, disconnected oil flow sensor & oil level sender, tested overheat sensor. squeesed the fuel bulb while under way, no help. I get no alarms or lights. I am wondering if it could be the cdi or the ignition control unit? I know I need to get a dva to test these but I was wondering if anyone could think of anything I was missing? The dva is on order but I sure would like to get on the water!
I have the Seloc on-line manual but it does not help much I tested the Cylinder temp sensor got some readings on the on the leads but I cannot find out if they should have any reading. Would this effect the wot preformance?
Thanks

I had similar issue with my motor where it would not go over 2500 rpm and I changed the fuel filter and the fuel/water seperator filter and that fixed it.

when your motor was acting up did you try pumping the bulb? I have not checked the seperator but the filter has been replaced. thanks for the idea, I will check both those tomorrow!
