I have a 1992 Suzuki DT30 which I have not been able to get running right since last spring. All 3 carbs have been totally rebuilt. It cranks up fine and idles great, but when I go to get on the throttle, it cuts out every time unless I jam the throttle down to full throttle. It is not even working that way now.

I have taken it to a new guy to look it over now, and he says I need a new stator(which is about $900) and 3 new triggers (which are $105 each).

I am tired of dumping money in this thing and surely don't want to throw away $1350 if it is not going to fix the problem. Any suggestions?

Re: DT30 Stator

the stator have nothing to do with this ..... this guy is ripping you off ..... check your reed valves, I would recommend cleaning the carbs properly (rebuilding it doesn't mean it is clean) your high speed jets might be dirty ....
