1995 DT40 with factory PT&T. Unit will not go up on its own. I can hear the motor run. With human assistance it will raise but drifts downward & leaks?. I have added fluid through the bolt on the side of the resevior and cycled motor up & down to work out any air. Still no luck. Local Suzuki dealer says $1100 for a full replacement plus labor. Looking for good advise on whether the motor or pump needs replacement or rebuild kits avialable. Works fine going down. and not sure where leak is from. Taking it off motor tonight to investigate/ Any help surely appreciated, its my 16yr olds first boat
