First time on the site. Looks like alot of good info. I have a 89 suzuki DT85. Have owned it for around 13 years with no major issues. Recently I have developed a knocking/rattling noise at an idle. This noise goes away as RPM goes up. Motor still runs great. I have been told it could be one of the bearings at the top or bottom of the crank. Supposedly they have plastic keepers to keep the balls separated in the bearing, could the plastic be broken like I have heard and at lower RPM the ball bearings are not spaced properly causing the noise any info would be greatly appeciated.
