This is a very dumb question but where is the serial number for the Engine?
It is Mercury 125HP Bluewater Series.

Not a stupid question but they are usually found on the mounting bracket, not on the powerhead itself.

From the Mercury service manual for your engine.

(look for an aluminium disc that looks like a freeze plug).
