Need to flush this motor with a hose thru the flushing port, is the required fitting a screwable type ? simple to make one in a machine shop.

is it not with the hose garden style flush port what year is the 60hp

Thanks, can flush this motor with ear muffs or thru the flushing port located at the rear of the middle leg, it's a much better way to adequately flush with more pressurized water going thru the motor as long as you want whether ON or OFF. Let's find out if anyone is using the flushing dapter who can answer my tech inquiry..

All you should need is a 3ft washing machine supply hose .

Some E-Tec owners are using screwable plastic fittings for that purpose whose rear ending (where the hose connects to) must be at least 10 mm in diam in order to properly cool the fuel vapor separator and the EMM.

Have several plastic fittings, will check which one screws in nicely to the flushing port so to leave my washing machine alone LOL!!
