Forktail,<br /><br />In a previous post we were discussing how the E-TEC and FICHT injectors differed. You said that they were similar, which they are since they are both self-contained "fuel pumps" for direct injection. The construction simpler and the accuracy of the E-TEC is what makes it unique. <br /><br />The FICHT injector can support up to 45 hp per cylinder at 6000 rpm. The E-TEC is said to feed up to 80 hp/cyl. and is operational on engines up to 10,000 rpm, allowing its use in snowmobiles and motorcycles in addition to outboards.<br /><br />Is there any other info that you would like to see?
