Early 90's Johnson 60HP

This is a new motor to me. It was stored for three years and appears in good shape but was hard to start and runs rough (I think only 2 cylinders). Is it normal for exhaust to exit from the prop?<br /><br />Thanks...Dave

After sitting for that length of time, the carburetors will require cleaning and rebuilding.<br /><br />The engine has thru hub exhaust.
