Good grief, what a fiasco this online shopping is!!! I’ve spent DAYS trying to find a whole pile of goodies only to find I’m facing “unknown brokerage feesand little support from the supplier.

I remember how that goes. At one point I got fed up with it and realized the "couple bucks" saved wasn't worth the hassle. Plus as you mentioned, you aren't confident in the seller. In many cases I would only purchase if they accepted Paypal so I had at least some recourse if it went south.
