Re: Ebay, so what would you do?

Update:

The guy retracted his bid, so the bid amount dropped back to $200. In the last seconds of the auction it went up to $226, which I'm happy with.

I paid $125 for the Minn Kota MK345 charger when it was marked down on clearance, and then 50% off the clearance price. Actually, I bought 2 chargers, a MK345 and a MK330 because I didn't know which one would fit in my boat best, then sell the one that didn't fit. I almost paid for the MK330 battery charger in my boat by selling the MK345.

Glad it worked out for you, but I'm even more glad I don't mess with Ebay :D

cancel his bid. why deal with the drama that you know would be coming from him? you can be reasonably certain if he wins the auction he isn't sending the money anyway.

I'm glad it worked out.

I sell a TON on ebay, and have for what, 12 years now, wow! Anyway I have canceled bids, and also had bidders retract. I have no issues with people wanting to back out BEFORE the auction ends.
