Is it possible this is something to do with Y-COP maybe

Strange the ECM in pic shows a 2005 make year and the motor a 2007.

I guess part made in 2005 and motor made in 2006, and model year is 2007 could be possible

I have never seen anyone spend the time to dissemble the electronics like that to try and by pass/fix something.

Where are you located and where is this motor located?
