kinda funny the bedroom brawl only becomes an issue a few months before elections. but border security and immigration and medicaid,social services and welfare reform seem to get lost. the war is a done deal. W already says its the next guys issue so I dont expect anything but more of the same.<br />however after 6 years I was hoping for a trade balance,maybe a balanced budget with no deficit spending, possibly a bit of actual border security maybe some progress on the illegal migration.<br /> seems about all we really got was a confusing reshuffle on medicaid and the raiseing of the age you can draw social security.<br /> the VA is so underfunded ,understaffed and overcrowded you cant get the promised bennies.<br /> maybe a few domestic wins would be nice.<br /> after 6 years we still dont have a coherent energy policy. <br /> but no the war in Iraq,Afghanistan is going to remain the same cause the same brilliant planners that got us there are still planning.<br /> while we need a social services net the waste fraud and abuse of the current system is horrendous.<br /> about the only thing I have seen for 30 years is hiring more govt and spending more money while it spiraled out of control.<br /> world oil production has remained fairly constant yet in less than 9 months the price of a gallon of gasoline has doubled and then some. the extraction costs have actually decreased.<br /><br /> I read that some school districts had to shut down due to lack of funds to buy diesel, a few small trucking and delivery firms here shut down cause they just could not eat the fuel loss.<br />they are still finding bodies on the gulf coast.<br /> fema and homeland bungling are a joke.<br />a costly joke but still a joke.<br /> so yea there are a lot of issues that could be debated, what someone does in their bedroom as a consenting adult of the age of majority is NOT one of them.<br /> like I say, the emporer has no clothes.
