Hello,
I am aquiring parts for my 2 elec. shift OMC's, I found a guy that has a vertical driveshaft that is new old stock. the box says that it is a 980097 which that is the part number that is online and I can verify that as the DS I need, however this driveshaft looks just like the 980097, but on the top of the driveshaft it has 980095 stamped into it. the bearing, the splines, the spiral section and everything looks the exact same as mine.
does anyone have any info on this 980095? I cant find anything on it. I just need to make sure that they are the same part before I buy it.
