This sea misfortune happened yesterday miles off coast, seems that their electrical installattion wasn't in a proper wortking order, no lives were lost to regret, boat was total loss. Was boating nearby to document the tragedy.

Fish will have a new home to live in and me 3 nice recovered floating cushions to sit on. Bottomline : check all your electricals and fuel lines to be in opt state.

How do you know it was an electrical issue and that was because somebody didn't wire it correctly or that it wasn't some fuel ignition issue. Was there a news report on it? ? Just curious...

Asked one of the crew members what had happened, he said that a chinese 12V-220 V inverter caught fire near engine compartment, the issue with these crappy units is that are not certified by a proper tech laboratory like UL, In real daily uses handle less amps than rated for on tech plate.

Bottom line : you get what you paid for, sometimes with dire consequences specially when you don't have insurance.
