Took her out today to see what would happen. The initial beep sounded garbled like it almost sounded normal but like the chirp mechanism was messed up. Boat fired up and ran great. Blower still wasn’t working and then I whacked it a few times and it started working again. Thinking maybe I loosened a dirt dobber nest when I added the trim and that’s what was causing that issue? Also noticed that the key was sticking in the start position if I wasn’t careful. My working theory now is that maybe the key was stuck in start last time I took it out and the starter was running the whole time. Would explain the 90A melted at the starter and why it didn’t blow. Would also explain why the beep sounds garbled if the ignition fried some. Does this seem possible? I’m not positive what happens if the key gets stuck in start while you’re running. Checked voltage at alt and it was good but didn’t have an led on hand to check diagnostics. Might be barking up the wrong tree but this theory would connect the dots maybe
