Re: electron travel speed

Electrons appear to be erratic because they move at such great speed. If you can some how slow them down you will see that they move in infinite 3 dimensional plane, but their transition is smooth as suppose to "wobble" around.

professor, you can forget about your "super conductor" thing. No natural or man made element can ever come close to "super conductor". To achieve "super conductor" status, a piece of copper wire must be free-zed to minus 300 degrees in lab setting. In reality it is not feasible. Such process is not practical or economical. Nothing happens without financial motivation.

KRS, how did you come to that conclusion? Must I explain everything step by step? You do realize that how slow it would be for our "dial up" Iboats friends right.

GQ
thats what I said, so far the super conductor thing has cost a lot and for now has no practicle application outside a lab. the electron wobble theory has been theoretically proven, its a wobble on its axis as it orbits, supposedly. its also what the LSD taking electron gurus say makes the "white" noise in some of the super sensitive pico-watt recivers.
thats what the Guru that visited us at the request of a teacher from the college of lake county.
you would not believe how much of the radar stuff works yet is not fully understood why, some of it is theory but it works.
but every year we learn more about electricity and how and why it works, not bad progress when you look at howlong semi-conductors have been around, or vacum tubes for that matter.
it took how long to convince scientists that fire and water were not elements ?
