I have a 1950 something 7.5hp elgin in decent condition, thinking about restoring it. It runs as it is but needs a paint job.

I am curious though if anyone knows where to get an impeller for it and maybe new decals???

Elgin was made by West Bend which was purchased by Chrysler around 65.
www.aomci.org is probably the best source for info and parts.there is a forum
and a free webvertize.Langs outboards may be able to help.

Go to the Antique Outboard Club's website. www.aomci.org There you will find a free classified ads page. List it there. If you want responses, include the price and where it is. I never answer ads that don't list those things. I wouldn't buy a motor that was 1000 miles away unless I really, really, wanted it because the freight is a deal killer.
