By posing your request in such a fashion you are imposing the onus on the reader to do the research to determine exactly which part that you need for the plethora of engines and year models that McCulloch built for Sears. Most---like myself---will simply delete and go on to other things rather than do that research. Therefore you will get far more helpful responses if YOU make it easier for those from whom you are asking for help.

Besides that, 18-3009 is not a good number. At least it isn't in the current Sierra catalog.

Re: Elgin/McCullock

Does anyone know where I can get water pump impellor for this motor? Model #67600710

My source Intertec manual) shows the 1963 7 1/2 HP Sears motors as Model # 6009 built by McCulloch. If your motor is indeed the same as the infamous Mac 'Lo-boy' motor that they advertised as about the same length as a shirt sleeve then you'll have to send the cores of your old impellers (it has 2---one for the waterpump and one for the baler) to Brian Wilcox so that he can use the metal hubs to cast new ones. <http://www.chrystine.com/impellers/order.html> Calling him for instructions seems to work better for me. (810) 794 - 7685

Most who 'fool around' with the Lo-boys simply use the least bad of the old impellers for the baler to avoid the expense of a 2nd impeller. I'm still in the gathering parts stage of rehabbing a '61 Wizard version and it appears that the new impeller will require some fitting (thinning) to function properly when I get to that stage.

If you haven't yet found out you can about count on needing a new fuel pump diaphragm in the bottom of the Marvel Schebler carb. You'll have to make it yourself as it's---along with carb kits--- NLA AFAIK. It's not as difficult as you might think. A good pattern contact cemented to the material, a SHARP Exacto knife and steady nerves will get the job done. The material is available from 'Ollie' at <http://www.pfs-ware.com/Parts/OllieParts.htm> The piece he sells is sufficient for 3-4 diaphragms.

Best source I've found to date for parts (they bought out remaining Mac stock) is Discount Marine. Talk to Sherwood if you call. He's the owner and has always sent the part I needed.

Of course if your engine is NOT the Mac Lo-boy wearing a Sears label nothing above will apply. HTH, Tom
