I have two older Elgin motors that are working very well. One is a 1957 12 HP and the other is a 1962 7.5 HP.

Are Either of them of any special value or are they collectibles due to their age?

I am planning on selling them and I don't want to miss out if they are collectibles.

agreed not rare nor collectible. too many of them made. also getting harder and more expensive to get certain parts.

I have a 12, that I'd sell in a heartbeat if it had any significant value. Still have it.

What the others said, but that doesn't mean they are worthless. If they are clean & in good running condition there is still value in them as servicable outboards, though their age must be taken into account. - A couple of months ago I picked up an early 1960's 2 hp air cooled Elgin that just needs the carburetor cleaned for $15, that was from a dealer.
