Better post some pictures so we can see what you are seeing.

Here's a close up shot I took before leaving for work.

The circled spots are where the glass is separating. Im still trying to clean the oil I am going to pick up some tide to see if that works.

I know the glass has to be oil free to be able to adhere new glass to it, if it's soaked in the hull will the bottom just have to be cut out in that area to repair correctly?

I would not break out the wrecking saw just yet. Post some more pictures when you can. You can probably fix any delamination from the inside of the hull.

Simple Green should do the trick on the oil. If not mix up some TSP(Tri Sodium Phospate, get it at Lowe's) and that WILL cut the oil. Delam is simple, Just Grind it all off till you get to well adhered glass and then re-glass.

in addition to the TSP.....dawn dish soap....you may use an entire bottle, and a scrub brush, will need a scrub brush

apply dawn liberally, add a bit of hot water and scrub
scrub some more
then rinse
then scrub some more
then rinse
apply some more dawn liberally
scrub
if needed add a bit of water and scrub some more
then rinse
then scrub
then rinse
once its clean, then use TSP
then grind
then use some acetone to wipe

when your done, it will be clean, and the admiral will tell you to do the dishes from now on.
