I have a 175 Evinrude 81 model. We went out for a ride and after several miles at half throttle we trolled with throttle a little above idle for several minutes and the warning buzzer went off. I took it to be overheating buzzer (steady buzz). Throttled back up to a plane and the buzzer quit and no problems from there out. I checked the engine at the house and plently of water is coming out of the pee hole (telltale) and the thermostats are opening up. The buzzer didnt go off in the drive way. Also is the water from the peehole susposed to be hot or cold after the thermostat opens up? Any Ideas?? Thanks
