I HAVE TWO PROBLEMS, THE FIRST IS THAT MY FORCE 125 BOGS DOWN AT TIMES SO I TAKE OUT THE FUSES AND CLEAN THEM OFF AND MOST OF THE TIME THAT WORKS.
THE SECOND IS MY REVERSE DOES NOT WORK AT TIMES. WHEN I PUT THE THROTTLE IN REVERSE MODE THE PROPELLER SPINS FINE OUT OF THE WATER, BUT WHEN IT'S IN THE WATER IT DON'T WORK. THE WATER TURNS UP BUT THE BOAT DON'T MOVE.

Re: ENGINE PROBLEM W/REVERSE GEAR

Does the prop extend below the transom? If the prop's thrust is hitting the transom, the transom will cancel out the thrust.
Does the prop spin in the water? If not, you have a lower unit problems, or a spun hub in the prop.
Hey 12 Footer. GREAT PLATE!!

Yep, agree with 12. I would take a good look at shift linkage also.

Re: ENGINE PROBLEM W/REVERSE GEAR

thanks 12', i found out that the reverse gear is not engaging. when i take a flat head screw driver and manually push the shifting rod up , then it will engage. I tighten up the shift rod and replace the lower fluid in the lower unit thinking that it's sticking, hopefully that will work i'll let you know the out come. if that don't work i'm open for advise.
