What is the best method or product to coat an outboard actual engine to help protect from corrosion/surface rust of parts, such as bolts and brackets.<br /><br />I thought of such as Duck oil ????
Paint. Mercury also makes a product called Anti Corrosion Spray, but that dries out and gets flaky. Just a good coat of paint is the best protection I've seen.
