Engine size for boat.

I have a Haines hunter v133 boat and am looking for a new engine for it. It does not have an hp rating plate on it and I was hoping someone could tell me what size engine I could put on it. I was hoping for a 50hp. Is this to big? Any info would be great. Cheers.

i just googled the boat and it looks like people are running a lot more than 50's on them...

but to be sure.....in the restoration forum....at the top is a sticky about information....the uscg rules are there regarding the max hp of a hull
