engine swap

i am interested in buying a 26 ft bayliner command bridge and was wondering would it be possible to replace existing engine Mercruiser 300HP+ Bravo II outdrive with a diesel engine? if so how much would this cost? i want to do this for running cost reduction. any advice would be greatly appreciated on this boat also, cheers

I would think the the New Driveline,...
Engine,+ Drive will run you about 3X what you buy the Hull for........

The present Driveline would Probably fetch you about $10,000./ $12,000.00.........
