Engine water pump?

Alpha1 Gen 1, 4.3 Mercruiser
I have a pulley that is loose and every now and then it locks up.
I have ruled out the crankshaft pully and the alternater pulley, Is their a engine waterpump in my motor?

I have looked in my manul but it only shows one for a v8 not a v6.
I have also tried to find one at the iboats marine store and can't find one.

there is a circulating pump on the engine and a impeller in the outdrive .powersteering pump or idler pully(serpentine belt only)

The 4.3 Mercruiser absolutely has an engine circulating pump on it. Should be right above the cranshaft pulley.
I think it's the same part number as for the small block engine pump. look under "Intake manifold and front cover"

Guys, I bought a Sierra circultor pump part number 18-3583.I'm trying to put the pully back on and when I put it on it's rubbing against the motor. It seems that the shaft on the new pump is a hair shorter than the old one.
Did I buy the wrong pump?
Can I place a washer bewtween the pully and the pump to get a little clearance or take my grinder to the back of the pully to shave a little off?

Post the Merc serial number of your engine.

Got her figured out. The back of the pully was a little worpted , so I straightened it out with a hammer,didn't take much beatin.

Were on the block do you find the serial number?

My 4.3 is newer than yours so this info may be incorrect but...
